Bringing the Garden in to the Venue
The light spilling through glass gable ends, on to the old-fashioned scissor beams, make the venue quite different from the Homestead. In fine weather, the specifically designed recess doors open on to the garden on three sides to create the feeling that you are well and truly in the country, surrounded by English country gardens. Extensive use of wood, chandeliers filled with candles and two attractive fireplaces provide a cosy and intimate atmosphere in the colder months. A bonfire will be lit outdoors for added warmth or atmosphere. The architecture of the Summerhouse enables a wide range of floor plans to be used.
Functions of 30 guests for an intimate wedding will feel comfortable, as will a gracious function of 140 guests if the verandahs are used.
