Thank you to everyone at Oakfield for EVERYTHING – you guys are spectacular!

Andries and I both studied at Stellenbosch, probably passed each other every day, but never met one another! After finishing our studies (even sharing Graduation Day), we both got placed in Bloemfontein to complete our community service years - Andries as a Doctor and myself as a Physiotherapist. We met one another early in 2009 through mutual friends after which Andries started pursuing me.

After initial resistance, I gave in and the rest is history. This was the beginning of the best time of our lives! It was wonderful working together and seeing one another in hospital every day. Nine months later, Andries proposed at the same restaurant where we had our first date – a special night with flowers, good food and wine, candles, surprises, tears, laughter and a beautiful message from Genesis 2. I say yes!

We had 5 months to plan our big day! With the amazing support from our wonderful, excited parents as well as the experienced staff at Oakfield, all arrangements went smoothly.

The 17th April was a blessed day, the most amazing day of our lives! The tropical honeymoon in Mauritius was the start of the amazing journey we are sharing and living together as the Krugers and is absolutely wonderful!
